郭小森（guoxs@genomics.cn），博士，研究员，广东省司法鉴定人，深圳市法医学重点实验室主任，西北大学与郑州大学兼职副教授。到目前为止，在Nature、Science等高水平杂志上发表文章超过35篇。申请发明专利6项。参与国家及省市科研项目6项，经费超过3000万。牵头或参与制定国家标准5项，地方标准1项，团体标准1项。主导研发的法医DNA鉴定技术及产品产生的经济效益超亿元。
研究方向：研究方向为基因组学研究及相关产业转化。在基因组学研究方面，主要进行群体基因组学和法医遗传学研究。作为主要负责人，参与完成了多个大型的国际基因组研究计划，包括国际千人基因组项目（1000 Genomes Project），英国万人基因组研究计划（UK10K Project），丹麦人基因组研究以及蒙古人群体基因组学研究等。参与了古爱斯基摩人以及澳大利亚土著人等古人类基因组学研究。此外，还参与了包括大熊猫、大鼠、小麦、玉米、水稻等系列重要物种基因组学研究。在科研转化方面，从事法医DNA鉴定相关技术及产品研发。主导了高通量测序法医DNA检测系统的开发，包括测序仪、法医试剂盒、配套的自动化文库构建系统以及自动化数据分析软件，推动了高通量测序技术在法医DNA鉴定领域的孵化应用。
